Cardinals general manager Steve Keim says veteran Jeff Draskel will join the Rams.
Driskel spent last season with the Bears before signing a four-year, $40 million contract with the Cardinals last season.
He was one of the top linebackers in the NFL in 2016 after starting the year on injured reserve.
Driskell has been a key piece of the Cardinals defense for several years now.
Draskel is expected to start at inside linebacker in 2018.
He’s a former fifth-round pick out of Ohio State who played five seasons with the Buckeyes before retiring in 2018 after his junior season.
The Cardinals are looking for help at inside linebackers, and Driskels versatility would give them more depth at that position.
